15 things you don’t know about me
I always have a US $100 note in my purse. It’s my way of manifesting my next trip to New York.
I grew up in the theatre. My first major role was as a boy in Hans Christian Andersen. I was 8.
I don’t do headstands. I’m a yoga teacher. Go figure.
I’m a total bookworm. I have hundreds of books, and some in three formats. Sometimes I just can’t help myself.
I like to think I’m a go with the flow kind of gal. You know, an organic hippy chick and all that. But in reality, I like a plan. And I love a list. For everything.
I wasn’t always an entrepreneur or corporate exec. I used to be a sound engineer. Yep, an actual music producer in a studio and everything. That makes me cool, right?
I started writing at a very young age. Poetry was my first love. The first masterpiece was about a baby seal. Being killed. Seems I have a dark side.
I may live on green smoothies and organic everything, but I cave for a good cupcake. Magnolia Bakery, midtown NYC, chocolate with butter cream icing. Simply. Die.
I’m a junkie for reality TV. Real Housewives of New York. And Beverly Hills. Also American Idol. Oh and The Bachelor. Shocker I know.
My son wanted a dog. For ten years. I resisted, but he wore me down and now I am in love. And just so we’re clear, she’s my dog now.
I am a tad obsessed with stationary. Notebooks, to do pads, journals, post it notes. Get me in Kikki K or Papyrus in New York and you will lose me. For hours.
I’m a study freak. A couple of Masters degrees down and now onto the PhD. I’m already worried what I will do when I finish it. A second one maybe?
I like to paint almost as much as I love to write. Who knew.
That hippie chick part of me? She loves Byron Bay. Get’s there every chance she gets.
I’m blessed to have met my greatest teacher so far. His name is Luca, and he’s my 14 year old son. Coolest person I know. Beyond grateful.
