February roundup – Failure, confidence and living in abundance

Women

Well, February went super fast, short month and all. For many of you, I am hearing how quickly the year has sped up, and for some, how overwhelmed you are already feeling with your schedules and to do lists.

I feel you. I set my year up in advance way back in October – business planning like the good strategist that I am. After having a luxuriously slow January, Feb hit me with a bang and a boom. Yes I had planned it, but it got so very full so very fast! I’m finding my flow now, and I hope you are too.

If you’re not quite where you want to be yet, then take a few deep breaths and reassess. Check in with your agenda; what are you actually working toward this year? What are your heart felt goals? How do you want to feel as you move through your work and life? What can you let go of? And how much can you surrender into lifes flow?

One of my major themes for this year is flow, not hustle. See if that resonates for you, and if so, look at what you can do to find more of your flow more often.

Keeping it short and sweet with this roundup. More from me next week, and stay tuned for the 2017 release of The Career Toolkit program. It’s been refreshed with loads more content and a 12 week live program schedule. Super exciting, and we know that the community of women who are already in the program are itching to welcome in the new members who will join us in March. Keep your eye out for a taster with my free career training webinar coming up in a few weeks too. It’s going to be epic!

The question that will set you up for failure…. every time

The truth about becoming more confident

What did we make of the Super Bowl (and I’m not talking about the football)

And just published on the podcast is a gorgeous interview with my dear friend and colleague Dr Ezzie Spencer on Living an Abundant Life. Today is launch day for Ezzie’s first book An Abundant Life. In this episode, we talk about using the moon as a mirror for our own self knowledge; how to understand yourself on a deeper level and make more conscious decisions; why rest is so important for you; and how to find your feminine flow. Oh and so much more. It’s real, it’s juicy and it’s very timely. Make sure you tune in and listen.

I hope you have a great March. I have loads of cool speaking gigs coming up to celebrate International Women’s Day next week; content creation; running my Sacred Feminine program which is pure joy (dates opening soon for June); book writing (exciting news on my next book will be revealed next month), and of course, the launch of The Career Toolkit.

A closing reflection

I had a moment last week when one of those ‘memory’ posts popped up on my Facebook feed. It was a flash of when I launched my first website. 2012. I was still at IBM as head of strategy. I had a glimmer of a dream of starting my own business, but not a plan.

Fast forward 12 months to August 2013, and I had just started. 3 years. It is staggering to think of how much I have created in such a short time. I think we all underestimate what we are achieving, our daily and weekly successes that add up to the big wins in our lives, and just how great we are actually doing. It’s far too easy to focus on what we haven’t done, what we aren’t achieving and just how much work is left to do.

Take a few moments this month to reflect on how far you have come, the little things that are creating joy in your life, and celebrate all that you are. No matter how far you think you have to go, you are without a doubt incredible and amazing. And I want you to see that in yourself.

Even though on my bad days I can dwell on how far away I feel from all that I want to do and create, I really do feel like I’m living the dream. And I am so very grateful. Thank you for being part it, it means everything.

Stay connected and do whatever you need to do to find your flow.

Until next time

You’ve got this. All of it.
