WLW 003: Rebecca Campbell on Light is the New Black
One of the best parts of the work I do is the opportunity I get to speak to incredible women who are passionate about their mission in the world and are a shining example of what it looks like to be on your purposeful path. All of the women that I’ve interviewed so far have been wonderful examples of this, and none more so than my guest this week, the incredible Rebecca Campbell.
Rebecca is a best selling author, inspirational motivational speaker, spiritual teacher, grounded spiritual mentor and practical intuitive guide. Through her new book Light is the New Black, she is guiding thousands of women to listen to the callings of their soul, work their light and create a life that is completely aligned to them. Rebecca teaches internationally and is passionate about helping people connect with their intuition and follow what lights them up in order to live wonderful lives both personally and professionally. She believes that when we follow what lights us up and courageously share that with the world, we light up the world with our presence.
In this episode Rebecca and I chat about some of my favorite topics – the importance of listening to our intuition, how we balance our masculine and feminine energies and why we need to surrender control and trust the path that we’re on. And just a heads up that this episode features some adult language, so you may want to make sure there are no little ones listening in.
Here are 3 key takeaways from my conversation with Rebecca:
- It’s so important to forge out a daily practice to quieten down and tune in so that we can hear the subtle voice of the soul. When we hear it, it’s our job to trust what our intuition is telling us and to act upon it.
- When we step out of our masculine energy and the need to control everything and surrender into our feminine, we can flow with the universe and allow spirit to guide us.
- Living from the heart and trusting your intuition takes courage. There’s always going to be resistance that comes up and we need to learn to trust and move towards the resistance.
Rebecca also mentions a quote from A Course In Miracles that she has on her desktop and I wanted to share it with you here because I think it’s a beautiful note to leave you with and a reminder to us all to be of service:
I am here only to be truly helpful. I am here to represent that which sent me. I do not have to worry about what to say or do because that which sent me will direct me. I’m happy just to be here, knowing all grace is within me. I will be healed as I let the healing happen through me.
If you liked this episode, I would love it if you could give me 2 mins of your time and head on over to iTunes and leave me a review. It really helps to get the word out so that more women will know about the show and have access to these inspiring interviews. I’d love it if you could join me in really changing the conversation by spreading this work. Thank you for being part of this community.
